I started acting rather late, 1998. But since then there has been no turning back.

Before my acting career I studied forestry. Even though I didn´t stay in the forestry business I still have a deep love for forests. Nature is one of my greatest sources of energy, and from time to time I need to get to the woods, where I can be all by myself.

I graduated in 2004 with a BFA in film acting and since then I have been working in various theatre and film productions.

My latest projects include a theatre monologue called Tippa (Last Call), which I also co-wrote and co-directed. Tippa won the Finnish national monologue competition in 2011 and since then it has been played in various venues around Finland. Tippa's english version Last Call got invited in Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2014.

Improv theatre has been a big part of my work as an actor. I am a founding member of an improv theatre group called Häpeämättömät (The Shameless). Häpeämättömät was founded in 2002 and since then we have done hundreds of shows, sometimes also in english. Skills I have learned through Improv theatre have been essential not only for my acting in theatre but also in my work in films.

One of my great show business achievements is winning the World Championship of Air Guitaring in 1998. So even if I am not carrying my guitar case, you never know what happens :)

Now, more than anything, I want to pursue my career in film acting. I simply love acting for Cinema and the truthfulness it demands from the actor. Be it theatre or film, I am grateful for every day I get to spend doing this work of passion.
